Warwick Farm Training Facilities Upgrade
The AJC Ltd has been undertaking an upgrade of the training facilities at Warwick Farm since January 2008. The upgrade includes:
· A new equine tunnel under the tracks (improving the safety of horse movements during training)
· A new synthetic track
· More than 400 new stables
The upgrades to Warwick Farm are timed to coincide with the transfer of horses from Randwick to Warwick Farm during the World Youth Day preparations at Randwick. In the 10 weeks, 15 June 2008 to 23 June 2008, all horses will be relocated from Randwick.
The AJC Ltd was set an extremely ambitious timetable for delivery of this significant project - less than six months. Project delivery is on target for early June 2008 and once complete will represent a major enhancement to the training facilities at Warwick Farm.
